COLOR CAME TO FILM

On May 28th, 1929: On With the Show, the first ever all-talking all-color feature length movie made its debut in New York City. Unfortunately, only black and white copies exist now.

THE DODGERS AND GIANTS DEPARTED FOR THE WEST COAST

On May 28th, 1957: The National League owners vote unanimously to allow the New York Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers to move to San Francisco and Los Angeles, respectively, at the mid-season owner’s meeting in Chicago, Illinois.

BORN ON THIS DAY: CHRISTA MILLER

On May 28th, 1964: Actress Christa Miller was born. Miller has starred on a number of very successful television shows that include The Drew Carey Show and Scrubs. She currently stars on Cougar Town.
