TUPAC SHAKUR

On June 16, 1971: Rapper Tupac Shakur, best known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was born in East Harlem. Though he passed away in 1996 at just 25 years old, 2Pac has continued to sell over 75 million albums worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists in the world (as of 2010). His music has been cited as having an influence over the nineties hip hop scene.

“BEIN’ QUIRKY WITH ZOOEY DESCHANEL”

On June 16, 1987: Abby Elliott was born in New York City. Elliott appeared on Saturday Night Live for four seasons, and appeared in skits such as “Bein’ Quirky with Zooey Deschanel” and is known for her impersonations. She has also appeared on numerous televisions shows, including 2 Broke Girls and How I Met Your Mother.
