On August 10, 1959: Rosanna Arquette was born in New York City. Known for her roles in Pulp FictionThe Big Blue, The Whole Nine Yards, and After Hours, Arquette also appeared routinely in the TV Series What About Brian. She also acted as Editor At Large of Fit Parent Magazine in 2009.


On August 10, 1986: Me and My Girl opened at the Marquis Theater on Broadway. The musical tells the story of an unassuming cockney man in the 1930s who is plucked from obscurity when it is discovered that he is actually the heir of an Earl. Lovable hijinks ensue and all end up happy. Written in the thirties, the show was revised in 1984 by famous comedian Stephen Fry. The result was a production that took the West End and Broadway by storm, garnering 13 Tony nominations and winning three.


On August 10, 1982: Devon Aoki was born in New York City. An accomplished model having appeared on the cover of numerous magazines (including Japanese Vogue, Nylon Magazine, and i-D Magazine), Aoki has also appeared in numerous music videos and films. She is most known for her role as the assassin ‘Miho’ in both Sin City and Sin City 2.
