On May 28, 1964: Actress Christa Miller was born in Manhattan. Miller has starred on a number of very successful television shows that include The Drew Carey Show and Scrubs. She also starred in the ABC comedy series Cougar Town alongside Courtney Cox.

 

THE DODGERS AND GIANTS HEAD WEST

On May 28, 1957: The National League owners vote unanimously to allow the New York Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers to move to San Francisco and Los Angeles, respectively, at the mid-season owners’ meeting in Chicago, Illinois.

RUDY GIULIANI

On May 28, 1944: Former Mayor Rudolph “Rudy” Giuliani was born in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Giuliani served as the 107th mayor of New York City during the years 1994-2001. Before that, he served as Assistant Attorney General during the Reagan Administration, indicting eleven organized crime figures  in the Mafia Commission Trial.
