DANNY AIELLO

On June 20, 1933: Danny Aiello was born in Manhattan. After working as a night club bouncer at the legendary comedy club The Improv, Aiello appeared in numerous films such as Léon: The Professional, The Godfather: Part II, Do The Right Thing, and Once Upon A Time in America. 

FLOYD PATTERSON DEFENDED HIS TITLE

On June 20, 1960: Floyd Patterson became the first boxer in history to regain the Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship when he knocked out Ingemar Johansson in the fifth round of their rematch in NYC. A highly decorated boxer, at 21, Patterson became the then youngest man ever to win the title. He also won a gold medal at the 1952 Olympics as a middleweight.
