BLUE IVY CARTER

On January 7, 2012: Celebrity baby Blue Ivy Carter was born at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. The daughter of superstars Beyoncé and Jay-Z, her family life has been under the spotlight since birth. She was featured, at two days old, on her father’s song ‘Glory’.

 

DAVID CARUSO

On January 7, 1956: Actor and producer David Caruso, who portrays Horatio Caine on CSI: Miami, was born in Forest Hills Gardens, Queens. Caruso is best known for appearing as Caine in all three CSI series, but also for his work in ABC’s crime drama NYPD Blue.

OVER THE HILL

On January 7, 1975: The musical Shenandoah opened on Broadway. The production ran for 1,050 performances and took home two Tony Awards. Multiple revivals over the years since its original incarnation have received much critical success.
