We’re going to…

TOON

New Yorker Phillip Orozco is no stranger to drawing iconic vixens like Jessica Rabbit and Catwoman, and illustrating for his own children’s book series, The Adventures of Piñata and Tortilla. But now he’s tackling a different beast: the personalities of NYC. Stop by The Ritz Bar & Lounge tomorrow night for a one-of-a-kind cartoon gallery of New York nightlife mainstays and drag queens, including drag duo Misty Meaner and Mocha Lite, NYC DJ and Aristic Director of Next Magazine Mikey Pop, nightlife host Justin Luke, and more. Oh, and did we mention there’ll be YehCakes?

We’re eating…

Bravo

Thanks to a delicious menu of New York and Chicago-style deep dish pizza, pasta, calzones, and more, Kosher has never tasted so good. “Homemade” recipes, quality, fresh ingredients, and an undeniable commitment to customer satisfaction are just a few of the reason why Bravo is one of our favorite pies around. And for you gluten Free-ers, fear not! Bravo also has gluten free items. Mazel!

We’re watching…

The Boxtrolls

Laika, the stop-animation specialist studio behind Coraline and ParaNorman, is at it again with The Boxtrolls. Reviews from critics and audiences alike have been largely positive for this quirky, charmingly offbeat tale about a boy who was raised by subterranean-living, trash-collecting creatures called Boxtrolls. The film features the voice acting talents of Elle Fanning, Ben Kingsley, Toni Collette, Simon Pegg, and New York Native Tracy Morgan.
