We’re watching…

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

It’s here. The final and definitive chapter in Peter Jackson’s epic film trilogy adaptation of the Tolkien classic, The Hobbit. “The gang’s all here,” as all of the familiar faces are accounted for, as well as a few you’ll recognize from the earlier Lord of the Rings film series. Unsurprisingly, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is unequivocally and undeniably visually stunning to behold. However, viewers might be surprised to find out that, unlike its equivalent final film in the Lord of the Rings film saga, The Return of the King, The Battle of the Five Armies is actually the shortest film in the series. While perhaps not universally adored by reviewers, fans and critics alike seem to agree that The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is a fitting finale to this monumental story.

In Our Hands Rescue

First, I’ll say that I love animals; I’ve loved having dogs in my life since I was a kid. The last dog I had was a cocker spaniel name “CD” when I was seven years old. 20 years later, I missed having a little dog running around and brightening up the room the same way a child would, so I looked to adopt. After going through a few sites, I found In Our Hands Rescue. There was a dog that caught my eye right off the bat — a Boxer/Pit/Terrier named “Otto” — and I knew I had to get him. I have since adopted “Otto,” and he is now my little “Ace!” In Our Hands Rescue provides a quick but thorough adoption process that could be great for someone in your life, just in time for the holidays!
