MoMA IN MIDTOWN MANHATTAN

On November 7, 1929: The Museum of Modern Art opened to the public in the Heckscher Building at 730 Fifth Avenue, at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street. MoMA was the first museum in Manhattan to exhibit European modernism.
