THE PICNIC ENDED

On May 29th, 1994: The musical, Picnic, closes at Criterion Theater NYC after 45 performances. It originally premiered in 1953, and has been revived many times.

On May 29th, 1942: Actor Kevin Conway was born. Conway has appeared in a number of off-Broadway productions that include One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Elephant Man, Other People’s Money, and When You Comin’ Back, Red Ryder? He has starred in films such as The Quick and the Dead, Mercury Rising, and Invincible.
