BORN ON THIS DAY: CORNELIUS CRANE “CHEVY” CHASE

On October 8, 1943: Cornelius Crane Chase, aka Chevy Chase, was born to a prominent family  in lower Manhattan. The comedian, writer, and actor has had a legendary career and was one of the original cast members of Saturday Night Live.
